Meldynique-Solar, producer of SolarDuo , the hybrid solar modules for solar energy and hot water at the same time is currently looking to add new certified installer worldwide.

SolarDuo is a hybrid solar module that was invented 4 years ago and installed in several countries in the last 2 years with succes.

After testing and installing on small scale bases for the last two year SolarDuo is expanding with a new factory starting in Spain in the next few months and another one by the end of the year in Northn America.

The requirements and procedure for system commissioning seems to be an unknown that needs to be developed.  There does not seem to be a current "baseline" for what needs to be done to meet the expectation of a system owner that their system is working right.  I for one am not inclined to wait until a goverment committee is formed to decide what the private industry needs to do.

UPS is buying 100 electric delivery trucks for use in California.  This is promising, in that EVs have always seemd to be small commuter vehicles but didn't seem feasible in a world where large commercial vehicles seemed to be forever doomed to fossil fuels.  I think the day of trans-continental electric "18 wheelers" is still a long ways away (I think it's more likely we'll go back to a train-based system utilizing electric trains for this in the future), but at least things are heading in that direction.
